Group Market Abuse Officer at Capital.com, since June 2026. The remit is the full catalogue — insider dealing, pump and dump, spread narrowing, everything adjacent. Around ten cases a week.
Before that: three years at UBS
Trade surveillance in Kraków, June 2023 to June 2026. The part worth stating plainly:

150+ high-risk trading activities escalated
Across equities and derivatives.

False positives down ~30%
By writing the tedious parts in Python. Roughly 200 analyst hours a month handed back to work that actually needs a human.

Led cross-functional UAT for a new surveillance system
And produced the executive reporting on insider trading patterns and manipulation trends.
I left on an Associate Director promotion, announced January 2026.

The e-commerce store reached €2,500 in revenue on its last product.

Left Italy for Australia
Working holiday visa. Five months around Perth taking whatever paid — including picking on an avocado farm to qualify for the extension.

Byron Bay
Hired as a kitchen hand at an Italian restaurant, ended up running its marketing. A flyer campaign lifted revenue 20% in a month.

Malta, and an agency of my own
Value 11 Consulting in Valletta, growing their Italian client base. Alongside it, an agency moving locked-down Italian restaurants onto ghost kitchens. First fintech client: Epiphany.eu.

London
Amazon UK last-mile driver by day, learning the financial markets at night. This is the year everything turned.

Then moved to Kraków, which is still home.

Compliance checks, risk escalation with KYC, and training the junior analysts. Started writing online in 2022.

Promotion in January, a month across Hong Kong, Japan and China in the spring, and a move to Capital.com in June.
